1. About Halls Aura

Halls Aura is a venue discovery and booking facilitation platform. We help customers find wedding halls and event venues, and we help venue owners (listers) reach potential clients. Halls Aura does not own, operate, or directly manage the venues listed on the platform.

2. Our role & what we are not responsible for

Halls Aura connects customers and venue owners. We are not directly responsible for:

• Venue quality, condition, services or staff conduct.
• Cancellations, no-shows, or last-minute pricing changes by venues.
• Offline deals or arrangements made directly between customers and venues.
• Third-party disputes, payment disputes or refunds outside the platform.
• Customer behavior or venue owner behavior during or after a booking.

Venue owners are responsible for keeping their listing details, pricing, availability, images and services accurate. Customers are responsible for verifying all final details (date, slot, price, inclusions) with the venue before making any payment.

3. Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to operate the platform:

• Account information (name, email, phone) for customers and listers.
• Booking request details (date, slot, guest count, event type, notes).
• Listing information submitted by venue owners (address, images, pricing, amenities).
• Basic device and usage analytics for security, fraud prevention and product improvement.
• Notification preferences and message history related to your bookings.

4. How we use your information

• To create and manage accounts and lister dashboards.
• To process and forward booking requests to the relevant venue and admin.
• To send booking, service and account updates by WhatsApp, email, phone or in-app notifications.
• To prevent abuse, secure the platform and improve features.

5. We do not sell your data

Halls Aura does not sell your private personal data to advertisers or third parties. We only share data with the specific venue you are trying to book, or with service providers that help us run the platform (hosting, database, email/SMS delivery), under appropriate confidentiality terms.

6. Payments

Final payment and advance terms are arranged between the customer and the venue, unless Halls Aura officially handles a payment through the platform in the future. Halls Aura is not responsible for cash payments, transfers or advance refunds handled outside the platform.

7. Communications

By using Halls Aura you agree that we may contact you (and listers may contact you about your booking) via WhatsApp, email, phone, or in-app notifications for booking confirmations, updates, service messages and important account notices.

8. Data retention & your rights

We keep account and booking data for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with legal and operational requirements. You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at hello@hallsaura.com.

8A. Cookies, location and saved selections

We use essential browser storage for sign-in, language, theme, wishlist, comparison and security preferences. Approximate or precise location is used only when you permit it, for nearby halls and distance features. You can deny location access and browse manually.

8B. Payment proof and sensitive records

Payment proof images, transaction IDs and verification decisions are restricted to authorised staff and relevant booking operations. Do not upload passwords, PINs or complete card details. We retain verification records only as long as reasonably needed for support, fraud prevention, accounting and legal obligations.

8C. Security, international processors and children

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Hosting, email, analytics and database providers may process data outside your city or country under their security terms. Halls Aura is not intended for children acting without a parent or legal guardian.

9. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email.
